Believing in the existence of classical value worth protecting in Japanese society, where minimalism is booming, two young foreigners decided to create a luxury classic watch for a wide range of customers.
DIAL
Featuring classical three-dimensional Arabian print indices, while leveraging the shape of hands to continuously infuse the field watch ambiance, we've added a touch of classical dress watch sophistication to the overall dial with a gradient sunray finish.
Utilizing blue luminous paint on the hands and minute track ensures excellent visibility in low-light conditions, enhancing the allure unique to field watches.
By elegantly inscribing the model name in cursive beneath the logo, a condensed sophistication is imbued onto the dial.
CASE
The watch, with a case diameter of 38mm and a thickness of 9.5mm, incorporates elements of a high-quality dress watch with excellent wearing comfort. Furthermore, it achieves 100m water resistance at this thinness, combining functionality worthy of its name.
Additionally, the bezel and case are separately molded, with the side of the bezel and the front of the case polished. By separately finishing the front of the bezel and the side of the case with hairline finishing, it maximizes the three-dimensional appearance, ensuring it doesn't look monotonous despite its slim profile.
It adopts stainless steel "316L" as the material. Stainless steel is known for its corrosion resistance and is widely used in medical instruments and everyday kitchen utensils, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin to wear comfortably.
MOVEMENT
The Japanese-made high-beat movement "cal.9039," a hallmark of high-performance timepieces, is employed here. Beating at 28,800 times per hour (8 times per second), the high beat reduces the amplitude of the seconds hand, significantly enhancing the watch's accuracy.
MIYOTA's mechanical movement, the "cal.9039," was conceived as an alternative to the globally popular Swiss-made "ETA2824," known for its thin profile and high performance. "CLASSIC FIELD" maximizes this slimness, fitting within the 10mm thickness standard for dress watches. The case back is boldly finished with a solid back for comfort and the utmost thinness.
